International semester in Mechanical Engineering

The International Semester in Mechanical Engineering is a 5-month programme consisting of 30 ECTS of your choices from a broad palette of Mechanical Engineering courses.

All curriculum activities are conducted in English and are dealt with in an international perspective. The latest know-how and state-of-the-art computer models are applied in an always practical approach to complex mechanical problems.

During the International Semester, the application of design methods is in focus and projects are integrated parts of the education. After the courses, the candidates will be able to design structures according to modern methods and for complex problems.

If applying for the International Semester in Mechanical Engineering, you must be at the last year of your bachelor's degree programme in Mechanical Engineering. You must also ensure that you fulfill the specific academic prerequisites for each of the courses, you wish to attend. You may find an overview of the admission requirements here.

The international semester in Mechanical Engineering is offered in both the Autumn and Spring semester.


Autumn semester (mid August to end January):

The international semester in Mechanical Engineering consists of the following courses, where you may choose up to 30 ECTS in total.

Spring semester (mid January to end June)

The international semester in Mechanical Engineering consists of the following courses, where you may choose up to 30 ECTS in total.

Please notice that overlap in the scedule may occur and you will need to be flexible in your course choices.

*The time table will be ready at the end of October.
