For many years to come, the shortage of engineers in Denmark will increase significantly, providing historically good opportunities for an engineering career. Very close to 100% of the newly graduated engineers from Aarhus University have found a job within the first six months after graduating, and many are even offered several jobs before they have finished their studies.
One explanation for the demand for AU engineers is the combination of theory and practice they have from their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. From the very first semester, AU students learn to apply their academic knowledge to problems that are also highly relevant for businesses.
Moreover, Aarhus University attracts the most talented engineering students, measured in terms of exam grades from upper secondary education, and this creates a study environment driven by enthusiasm, involvement and high academic standards.
