Abstract
This talk gives an introduction about our group's work in developing intelligent learning approaches for data-driven diagnosis and control. According to our recent research projects, the talk can be divided into three parts: (a) Industrial big-data based monitoring and control for large scale system (b) Medical data based human healthy diagnosis by advanced intelligent learning approaches and (c) Some challenges on cyber-physical systems: reliable sensing, cogitation and control. These topics are driven by practical demands and challenging scientific problems that require urgent solutions.

Biography
Shen Yin is a professor in the Department of Control Science and Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology. His research interests include data driven diagnosis and control, artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data and image processing for medical applications, and industrial applications on cyber-physical systems and industrial processes.
